Apply Square-Immune™ topically, on your skin, to a penny-sized (2 cm diameter) spot on the inner side of your upper arm (the side facing your chest). We do not advise applying Square-Immune™ on your cold sore, mouth, or face as immune reaction may cause temporary rash.
Square-Immune™ comes with a cotton swab. Dip the swab in the Square-Immune™ solution and use it to apply it to your arm. Avoid touching other parts of your body with the solution, as it can cause a rash or irritation.
Allow a minute or two for the solution to absorb into your skin before you put clothes on. You can cover the spot with a Band-Aid if you like. Leave it in place for 3 hours or more before you wash the spot. This actually GAVE me a cold sore! Two days after application, I got a cold sore under my nose (a site I rarely get a cold sore, but it has happened before - typically mine appear on my lower lip). I'm throwing away the rest of the product. Why would I use this only to get another cold sore????

I have used 2 doses of my 1 year supply so far. The 1st dose reacted 1 week later and my immune system was responding! The second dose was used as mentioned right when the cold sore is forming within the hour and the reaction was withing a day. I was tired and it took 2 weeks to clear. Recently, I had another cold sore showing however it disappeared and never developed into a sore. I did not use a 3rd dose for that I was waiting to see what my body would do and it seemed dealing with the virus by itself. I was tired for 4 days but no big sore on my top lip. Only people who know that their immune system is compromised by the Herpes virus would understand and appreciate that anything to shorten or clear the herpes attack is worth trying...and this is my experience. While I can feel a cold sore coming on, they do not happen as severe and barely are visible now. This product is great and truly works. My cold sores used to last for at least two weeks and were very visible and very sore. Now, they barely show up!

I tried 1 dose of Square Immune in November 2025. I didn't get a rash as advertised can happen that time & was outbreak free for 3 months. The first time I didn't have a cold sore during the holidays in years. Then I had a cold sore while in Florida in Feb. I had purchased the one year supply to take to FL with me just in case as being in the sun can bring them out. I used the Square Immune during the outbreak & did get a rash that time. The cold sore went through the usual cycle & the Square Immune didn't shorten the outbreak since it had already occurred. After the cold sore was healed, I decided to use more of the Square Immune since it says it doesn't help with an outbreak in progress. I got a rash from it again & both rashes stayed around for months. I'm now dealing with another cold sore & it's worse than the last one. In summary, Square Immune may lessen the amount of cold sores I get, however, it does not stop them completely.
