About
Square-Immune
The key ingredient of Square-Immune is SADBE (Squaric Acid Dibutyl Ester). SADBE is being developed as a drug by SquareX Pharmaceutical Corporation for FDA approval. In three clinical trials it has had these effects:
- Tripled time to next cold sore outbreak vs. placebo.
- Cut number of outbreaks by 2.6-fold vs. placebo.
- Mechanism of action: Shifted the immune response to herpes virus from an antibody response to a T-cell response and increased expression of Interferon-Gamma by 1,100% (11-fold)!!! Interferon gamma is the most important anti-viral cytokine.
Square-Immune is not a drug. Its applied topically and it just stimulates a natural immune response. It never enters your body but rather reacts with proteins in your skin to cause a mild immune response in your skin called a delayed-type hypersensitivity response. It works just like poison ivy, which causes the same response. We evolved to encounter things like poison ivy and viral and fungal infections, and those train and strengthen our immune systems. But now we live in a sterile world and don't encounter those things as much. The result is a weakened immune system and thus:
-
more chronic viral infections like cold sores and herpes, as well as human papillomavirus (HPV) that causes common warts, genital warts, and several cancers, and Epstein-Barr virus that causes fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome
-
chronic fungal and yeast infections
-
autoimmune disease
